Galaxy S25 Ultra

The Galaxy S25 series, released in early 2025, represents Samsung's most AI-focused lineup to date. All three models—the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra—are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which brings a massive jump in NPU (AI processing) and gaming performance.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: The Ultimate Flagship

The Ultra remains the powerhouse of the group, featuring a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It is the only model in the series with a Titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Armor 2, which significantly reduces screen glare and is more scratch-resistant than previous generations.

  • Camera System: It features a 200MP main sensor, a new 50MP ultra-wide (a huge jump from the previous 12MP), a 10MP telephoto (3x zoom), and a 50MP periscope lens for 5x optical zoom.

  • The S Pen: The signature stylus is built-in, though Samsung has removed the Bluetooth radio this year, meaning it no longer supports "Air Actions" but remains perfect for precision writing and drawing.

  • Battery & Charging: It houses a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

Galaxy S25+: The Balanced Choice

The S25+ is ideal for those who want a large screen without the bulk of the Ultra. It features a 6.7-inch QHD+ display and a more rounded, comfortable design.7

  • Build: It uses an Armor Aluminum 2 frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Interestingly, because its screen is slightly smaller but shares the same resolution as the Ultra, it actually has a higher pixel density (513 ppi vs 498 ppi).

  • Camera: It uses a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto (3x).

  • Battery: It features a 4,900 mAh battery and supports the same 45W fast charging as the Ultra.

Galaxy S25: The Compact Powerhouse

The base model is for users who prefer a "one-handed" phone. It has a 6.2-inch FHD+ display but maintains the same flagship processing power as its larger siblings.12

  • Performance: Like the others, it comes with 12GB of RAM as standard, though it starts with a 128GB storage option (using UFS 3.1) while the 256GB/512GB models use the faster UFS 4.0.

  • Battery: It has a 4,000 mAh battery and is limited to 25W wired charging.

New Galaxy AI Features (All Models)

The 2025 software (One UI 7/8) introduces several new "Practical AI" tools:

  • Now Brief: A personalized morning summary on your lock screen that combines weather, your schedule, and news.

  • Cross-App Action: You can press the side button to activate Gemini and ask it to perform tasks across different apps (e.g., "Summarize this video and send it as a WhatsApp message").

  • ProVisual Engine: This AI-driven photo engine improves "Nightography" and adds AI Audio Eraser, which can surgically remove background noise from your videos.
